After running cost businesses for other owners, Alex Clapp established County Cost Consultants. One of the trailblazers of his time, Alex embarked on his own business having acted for a multitude of Claimant and Defendant clients. Having experience in both sides of the case, he was placed in a unique position to form County Cost Consultants and deliver an innovative service that was not present in January 2000.

Alex’s aim was to provide honest, reliable and transparent advice to all clients from every aspect of costs. Over the two decades he has led County Costs, his initial vision has become a reality with his independent firm that consists of an array of specialism with the overall team.
Building on a family-like model, the retention of staff is a result of the investment placed in staff potential with sincere want to develop their skill set and nurture their growth. Each of the senior management team has an acknowledged area of the costs industry that they head with efficiency and detail. In line with company policy, every staff member deals with a wide range of costs-related matters rather than focusing on one particular area of costs.
