Tom is a qualified Accredited Costs Lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience in the legal costs field and is a Director at County Cost Consultants.  Tom originally trained in-house where he was involved in some of the most heavyweight litigation surrounding the implementation of The Access to Justice Act.

Involved in setting up various Cost Companies, Tom still has the same drive, determination, and love of costs.  Tom regularly attends Court up and down the country on Detailed Assessments, Appeals, Applications and CCMC Hearings.  A keen and knowledgeable Advocate who fights his corner respectfully and aggressively.

Tom regularly provides both technical advice as well as seminars to clients.  He has an acknowledged specialism in retainer and Solicitor own client issues.   Tom is extremely well respected both by his colleagues and the profession alike.

Outside work, Tom is keen on several sports and enjoys the odd triathlon to help with fitness.
